Happy 2015! It is absolutely crazy to think that 2014 is already over and 2015 is in full swing now. I say it every year but this time it really seems as if I blinked my eyes and 2014 was over! With the beginning of each new year there are resolutions that I make and usually by February (ok lets be serious, the 2nd week of January at best!) they are out the window! Do more of this, do less of that, blah blah blah. Of course I have made a few of the typical yearly resolutions… but how can I make a resolution to make this year better than the last….its nearly impossible. 2014 was so incredible all around I want to just continue its awesomeness!
To recap on some of my (I say “my” because I consider all of these events “mine” even if they don’t directly involve me 😉 ) major events…Kelly (one of the co-founders) got engaged, Cristi (our Director of Philanthropic Outreach) got married and her & her husband have little Sofia on the way! Amanda (our other Co-Founder) and I (Director of Social Goodness) both moved, her to Pompano, me to Fort Lauderdale! These are just some “major” happenings—but at Luc&Lou everything is “major”!
One of the most significant things this past year was the launch of Luc&Lou!! We had incredible giveback events, partnered with amazing non-profits and individuals, we went to New York City where we met some of the most genuine, caring people, we hosted a Fatherhood Initiative Workshop with the help of Baby Buggy—and the list goes on and on and on….and on. We have been so lucky to be able to share so many smiles in such a short time, we are ecstatic to continue this trend! =)
It would take me all year to list how grateful I am for everything that 2014 brought for all of us! Even with such a brief overview, you might see why it is so hard to say I want to start fresh in 2015, because honestly I do not want to! 2014 was one of the best years–EVER, for so many reasons. I don’t want to start over–I want to continue!
So heres to a New Year—Continued Awesomeness! I truly think the best is yet to come and I cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for us all! Make love contagious!
